Description

Dutch Woven Wire Mesh combines big welt wires and small warp wires, enabling strong wire application with super fine filtration. The Dutch weave wire cloth is typically used as industry filter media, offering strength and rigidity with fine filtration capabilities. Plain Dutch weave cloth is formed by weaving a limited number of warps wires with the maximum number of weft wires. As they are woven tightly together, it produces a cloth with no readily visible aperture. The shape and position of the cloth openings aid with particle retention and increase filter cake formation.

Duke’s Metal Plain Dutch weave mesh is strong and stable. High Density Dutch Woven Wire Mesh is also easy to clean with a good flow rate suitable for high-pressure liquid/solid separation.

What is Plain Dutch Weave?

Plain Dutch Weave is a special weaving pattern where:

  • Warp wires are thicker and spaced wider
  • Weft wires are finer and tightly packed
  • The weave structure forms a dense, stable filter layer with very small or non-visible openings

This design ensures:

  • High mechanical strength
  • Excellent filtration precision
  • Stable flow performance under pressure

Description:

  • Increased mechanical strength for industrial filtration
  • Manufactured in the plain weave pattern
  • Excellent filter applications for drum filters, nutsche filters, cartridge filters, vertical pressure leaf filters, and more

Key Features of Dutch Weave Mesh

  • High strength and pressure resistance
  • Excellent filtration accuracy for fine particles
  • Dense structure with minimal pore visibility
  • Good flow rate with stable filtration performance
  • Strong resistance to deformation and clogging
  • Long service life in harsh industrial conditions

Advantages Over Standard Wire Mesh

Compared with plain weave mesh:

  • Higher filtration precision
  • Stronger structural stability under pressure
  • Better resistance to deformation

Compared with twill Dutch weave:

  • More stable flow characteristics
  • Easier cleaning and maintenance
  • More consistent filtration layer formation

Why Choose Plain Dutch Weave Mesh?

Dutch Weave Industrial Filter Mesh is the preferred choice when you need:

  • High-strength filtration under pressure
  • Consistent micron-level separation
  • Durable performance in continuous industrial use

Applications of Dutch Weave Screen Mesh:

  • Drum filters
  • Nutsche filters
  • Cartridge filters
  • Vertical pressure leaf filters
  • Mesh pore size > 45 µm
